Wow, Pink Diamonds Break Sales Record

A rare pink diamond sold at a price of about U.S. $ 46.1 million. This means a new world record for the sale of a precious stone that sold at auction.
David Bennett, Chairman of the auction house Sotheby's, Geneva, Switzerland, says a well-known jewelry dealer in the UK to buy 24 carat diamond on Monday (15/11) ago. This far exceeds the target price.
Previously, the Sotheby's estimates that diamond weighing 24.78 carats will be released at a price of USS $ 38 million. As for the analysts believe the sale of this diamond indicates the economic recovery of the global economic crisis.
